Friday Sessions

Regular Friday bird identification sessions take place on the third Friday of the month #.  The times and venues vary (see below for details of the next session).  The aim is to provide support and assistance with identifying birds in a relaxed and informal environment.  Birdwatchers of all abilities are catered for.  Suitable for adults and children over the age of 12.

Information and written handouts on binoculars, telescopes, field guides and other topics of interest will be provided.  Binoculars are available to borrow at no extra charge (please contact Tony Swandale to reserve a pair).

Oare Marshes

Oare & Conyer Marshes near Faversham

10 am to 3 pm

Oare Marshes Nature Reserve is a haven for wetland birds on the south bank of the Swale estuary.  We can expect to see a variety of ducks, waders and bird of prey from the coast path and viewing hides.
